# What are tiny houses?

There is no official definition of what constitutes a Tiny House, but to make things simple we can say that the Tiny House Movement promotes simple living in a small house that ranges from 80 to 400 square feet.

**There are many benefits of Tiny Houses, but the ones that speak to us the most are sustainability, accessibility and freedom:**
